Established key tourism destinations have to continuously reinvent themselves to stay relevant with progressive international food and beverage experience and patron expectations…..or lose cred. This is what The Star Entertainment Group (formerly known as Echo Entertainment Group), Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast, Australia has been focusing on lately. I love the direction that DBI has created for The Kitchen Garden and Bar, as it is so quintessentially Queensland – Troppo as maaate!
The conservatory feel has been done well with plenty of mid grey tones and dark timber to contrast the abundance of white. Simple screens and top lit internal pergolas create an unpretentious casual and sunny vibe.
The abundance of greenery and random mix of lightweight furniture, is a backdrop where patrons should surely only wear billowy white linen and cool fresh colours when dining. Its evident, the garden and interior are truly one. I like the restraint with colour, as with all the greenery, its not needed. The venue feels a bit like being in a rambling old Queenslander house.
